Twitter Friend Adder V2This is pretty much similar to Hummingbird. However I DO NOT use HB so cant make a side by side comparison. People have told me this one is faster, however i would think hummingbird has more features (Well for $197 you would hope so).
Download Here How To Use : 1. Input your twitter username/password (Before you ask, no i don’t store them, keep them etc)
2. Input your keyword into the query box, this keyword allows you to pinpoint which users are interested in your niche!
3. Add how many friends you wish to add in this sitting. Remember you cant add more then 1000 friends per day (Twitters rules not mine!)
4. The next box is your sleep time. Now while the application will run fine with you leaving this as zero. I have found that fiddling with this number based on your internet connection will see your accounts adding friends alot more effectively. This number essentially is the time in milliseconds that it waits between each friend addition. I have seen that sometimes twitter cant keep up with adding users at an enormous rate per second! However try this number at zero and see how it goes before changing it.
5. After pressing start there will be up to 10 seconds of lag on the app. It wont stop your computer as a whole, but you wont be able to touch the twitter adder application window for a bit. In this time it is gathering all users that it will add. Unfortunately threading everything was beginning to be a pain so you will have to live with it. Do note however that the more users you want to add at once, the more lag at the start you will recieve. I guess its my way of saying dont be greedy
Requirements : * Your computer must have the latest .net framework. Which you can download from microsoft’s website.
* This application, while not opening a browser at any time, uses internet explorer to send and recieve data. Therefore internet explorer must be workable on your computer.
FAQ :Q : I seem to get alot of “duplicate user” messages, what’s going on?
A : There is generally two reasons you can get this message. The first being that the people you are trying to add, are making multiple tweets with the same keywords (The keywords that you are searching) in them. Therefore they appear more than once in the search results. The second being that the keyword you are using is talked about too often on twitter, try using a less common phrase.
Notes : * In V2 there is no proxy support. Partly because it was very erratic in its behaviour. I couldn’t tell whether it was useless proxys of shoddy coding. Plus the fact it is one of the lesser requested features, so it can wait.
* The API limiting reports don’t work exactly… This is not an error on my part. I believe twitter made a slight mistake in their API which has caused it to return haywire values. Sometimes you will see the IP limit drop, but you will never see the account limit drop. I have no idea why its so erratic, but it is coded properly!

* Overall speed enhancements made possible with less API calls and more inner workings
